Defining Music

Perhaps there are only a few songs that can not only define a genre of music, but can also define an era and will also carry on into remembrance its vibes for all future generations to love and listen to.  Despite how I feel about the Beatles they are a prime example of this as well as other acts as Kiss, the Rolling Stones, etc.
